FAQ tip - What are the recommended year-end tasks?

• Finish editing
  • Pass data
  • Review hourly averaged passed data for ENTIRE year. Use:
    cpx2 --mode=avgh {stn} yyyy
    to look at the hourly averaged data for the year where {stn} is your three letter station ID and yyyy is the year of interest.
• Submit the data to WDCA (This can be done automatically - talk to us if you want it set up!)
• Review your station(s) metadata
  • Check that the GAWSIS entry for your station is correct
  • Check that instrument deployment times and serial numbers are correct (use data.instruments.get {stn} )
  • Clean up data gaps (use data.status {stn} and data.lost {stn} )
