Purpose: The Central UV Calibration Facility held its fifth UV Spectroradiometer Intercomparison held June 14 - June 21, 2003 at the Table Mountain Test Facility, 8km North of Boulder, Colorado. This directory contains the data from the intercomparison. Filename structure: ------------------ yyyy = year jjj = Julian day hhh = time * 10 in UTC iii = instrument id x = indicates the calibration source 1 = participants calibration (e.g. h015) 2 = participants calibration (e.g. h024) 3 = participants calibration (e.g. h028) 4 = cucf calibration (i.e. h025) 5 = cucf calibration (i.e. h027) 6 = cucf calibration (i.e. h030) Note: For ag2 and ep1, x = "n4" is the average of the three lamps. Note: For ag3 and ag4, x = "n1" is h027. Original - This is the original calibrated spectroradiometer data. Convolved - This is the original calibrated data convolved using one of three methods described below (triangular, gaussian, slaper). Solar_cucf - Solar data using cucf lamps and cucf field calibrator. Original - This is the original calibrated spectroradiometer data. Convolved - This is the original calibrated data convolved using one of three methods described below (triangular, gaussian, slaper). Filter_data Original - This is the original calibrated filter data. Convolved - This is the original calibrated spectroadiometer data convolved with the filter functions of the filter instruments. Erythema - Erythemally weighted irradiance for spectroradiometers and filter radiometers Erythema360 - Erythema from 290-360 nm Erythema400 - Erythema from 290-400 nm (Each participant used their own method to extend from 360 to 400 nm. Filter - Ozone - Total ozone Auxillary - auxillary information for participating UV instruments Ancillary - ancillary data from ancillary instruments Subdirectory structure: ----------------------- Original - This is uncorrected calibrated data. Convolved - This is calibrated data corrected for differences in slit-functions and wavelength where indicated. Triangle - Data are convolved with a 1-nm trianglular function Gaussian - Uses a guassian function with a FWHM using the square-root of the squares of the sum of the other instrument's slit-functions (Jansson, 1994). Slaper - Uses Harry Slaper's code. Data are corrected for wavelength. Data are deconvolved using solar fraunhofer structure and reconvolved using 1-nm triangular function.
