Carbon Cycle Group NOAA/CMDL Tower Program data file formats for station LEF. Contact: Arlyn Andrews NOAA ESRL/R/GMD1 325 Broadway Boulder, CO 80305 Arlyn.Andrews@noaa.gov 303-497-6773 (tel) 303-497-6290 (fax) Tower location: 14 km east of Park Falls, Wisconsin, USA 45deg 56' 43" N latitude 90deg 16' 28" W longitude tower base altitude = 472 m above sea level local standard time (CST) = GMT - 6 hours There are two LiCor 6251 CO2 analyzers. LiCor1 cycles through the six measurement heights on the tower, while LiCor2 dwells always at the 396 m level. Please note that the quality of the meteorological data for 2001-2003 is not well characterized. Some filtering has been done to remove unphysical data values. Users should be aware of the limitations of the met data. Contact Arlyn Andrews for more information. References: Bakwin, P.S., C. Zhao, W. Ussler, III, P.P. Tans, and E.
