Licor notes: Joe THE SGP LAMP SERIAL NUMBER IS ORL 787 AND IT CALLS FOR POWER TAP #3 191.5 WATTS John All ARM LI-COR lamps operate on power tap #3 at 191.5 watts. This can be tested by multiplying measured lamp voltage by measured lamp current; lamp current is really a voltage that has to be divided by 10 to get amps. Should be 191.5 to within 0.1% I tested 1204, which was still in the calibrator when it was shipped. I found it to be too low by about 3-4% depending on wavelength. I then noticed that it was mounted backwards from the way the manual states it should be so I turned it around and measured within about 1% of my NIST compared lamps -- this underscores importance of getting lamp mounted correctly and also says that LI-COR does a pretty good job of calibrating to NIST standards.
