Poster Information
ICDC7 Poster Information
Poster Layout: We
ask that you prepare a poster with size 1.2x1.2m (4’x4’ ft). To
maximize communication with your audience, please keep the following in
mind:
- Try to communicate
your main points with relatively few pictures or graphs and few printed
words. You can always provide more detail to viewers when you are
present.
- Do not use small print that can only be read from close up, or by people with excellent eyes.
- Please bring a photo
of yourself to attach to your poster. This will ensure people can find
you if they wish to discuss aspects of your scientific findings.
Poster Presentations: We have made arrangements for the posters
to remain up from Monday evening until 1500 Friday afternoon. You will
also note that a time for your poster presentation has not been
provided. This is intentional to allow more freedom to view and
discuss poster information during the 10 hours allocated for posters.
To facilitate this process we request that poster authors select 3
hours to present their poster during the various poster sessions,
Tuesday through Friday, and post this information. On the designated
board where your poster will be presented there will be an ICDC7
presentation time sheet for you to indicate the 30 minute time blocks
that you will entertain questions regarding your data and science
during the conference.
We hope this will provide flexibility for
all attendees as well as a more open exchange of all science presented
by the poster authors.
