Michealene Iaukea-Lum

Michealene “Miki” Iaukea-Lum has a background in Physics and Atmospheric Science with focus on forecasting and aerosol research. Miki is part of the Mauna Loa Observatory team as a Professional Research Assistant (Associate Scientist II) overseeing the aerosols and mercury projects. Before MLO, Miki was with the Desert Research Institute in Reno, Nevada as a graduate research assistant characterizing biomass burn emissions from peat fires.
