In the left photo, Rich McLaughlin, mechanical engineering technican, has done a considerable amount of machining and computer aided design (CAD) for LACE. In the right photo, Tommy Thompson, software engineer, has considerable experience in ballooning and PC-based computers. Both Rich and Tommy were cruical to the success of the ACATS-II and -IV, and LACE instruments.
