data.shift

data.shift can change the station and time of all records in its input. It can be used to transplant one station's data into another station's archive at a different time. This operation should only be done with an inactive target station/time.

All input is read from standard input.

Command Line Usage

data.shift [station] [offset]

Arguments

station

The output station identifier code. For example 'brw'. If blank or omitted then the station is not changed.

offset

The time offset in seconds. If blank or zero then the data are not time shifted. Positive shifts forward in time.
